全年32-34周，分秋季学期和春季学期。共7个单元。6个单元分别下设多篇主修课文与相关话题，兼有文化拓展和多学科知识；1个总复习单元。
学生将在Level3继续认识更多汉字，尤其是通过熟字认识生字；学习更多偏旁，积累偏旁下的汉字；学习形声字的构字规律，能自主识字、主动识字；区分形近字、同音字，认识多音字。借助图片、联系上下文了解词语意思，积累短语和词句。读好长句子、疑问句、祈使句和感叹句，读懂句子所表达的意思。提取文章中的重要信息，根据信息作简单推断，培养阅读理解能力，尝试进行自主阅读，分享和展示阅读成果。正确朗读课文，巩固拼音的识读，借助拼音读准字音。正确使用标点符号，练习写作小段落。了解歇后语，背诵古诗。
Level3设计了有趣的课堂游戏和活动，每周有课后分级阅读任务。资深中文老师授课，全汉语教学，小班互动课堂。
本课程配套讲义、课堂练习、课堂游戏、作业、单元测验和单元评估。
本课程适合：
3年级，7.5-8.5岁左右的学生；
或识字量在250-300字左右，学过拼音，不计年龄的学生；
有中国文化背景；具备汉语听说能力。
This program runs for 32-34 weeks a year, divided into fall and spring semesters, and encompasses seven units. Six units feature multiple core texts and related themes, integrating cultural insights and multidisciplinary knowledge; the seventh unit is a comprehensive review.
In Level 3, students will expand their character recognition, particularly by leveraging known characters to learn new ones. They will also learn additional radicals, building their vocabulary of related characters, and explore the structure of phono-semantic characters to foster independent and proactive character acquisition. Furthermore, they will differentiate between visually similar and homophonous characters, and recognize polyphones. Vocabulary acquisition will be supported through visual aids and contextual clues, enabling students to accumulate phrases and sentence structures. Reading proficiency will be developed through practice with various sentence types, including long, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory sentences, with an emphasis on comprehension. Students will learn to extract key information, make basic inferences, cultivate reading comprehension skills, attempt independent reading, and share their insights. Accurate oral reading will be emphasized to reinforce Pinyin recognition and ensure correct pronunciation. Students will also practice using punctuation correctly and developing short paragraph writing skills. Cultural enrichment includes learning Chinese folk proverbs (xiehouyu) and memorizing classical poetry.
Level 3 students will engage in weekly graded reading assignments.
Taught by experienced Chinese teachers entirely in Mandarin, the program utilizes small, interactive classes with fun games and activities.
This program comes with handouts, in-class exercises, in-class games, assignments, unit tests and unit assessments.
This course is designed for:
3rd grade, around 7.5-8.5 years old;
Or Chinese literacy of 250-300 characters, prior knowledge of Pinyin, regardless of age;
Have Chinese background; can speak and understand Mandarin.
