This program runs for 32-34 weeks a year, divided into  fall and spring semesters. It includes 6 units, with each unit containing multiple main texts and related topics, incorporating cultural expansion and multidisciplinary knowledge.

Level 1 students will learn basic strokes, the origin and evolution of Chinese characters, character writing order and structural concepts, pictographs, myths, children's songs and poems, oral storytelling using correct Chinese grammar, and more. Level 1 has graded reading assignments every week.

Taught by experienced Chinese teachers entirely in Mandarin, the program utilizes small, interactive classes with engaging games and activities to create a dynamic and innovative learning environment for students beginning their Chinese language journey.

This program comes with handouts, in-class exercises, in-class games, assignments, unit tests and unit assessments.

This course is designed for:

• 1st grade, around 5.5-6.5 years old;

• Or Chinese literacy of less than 50 characters, regardless of age;

• Have Chinese background; can speak and understand Mandarin.
