This program runs for 32-34 weeks a year, divided into fall and spring semesters. It includes 7 units. 4 units each contain multiple main texts and related topics, incorporating cultural expansion and multidisciplinary knowledge. in addition, there are 2 Pinyin units and 1 Classical Poetry unit.

Level 2 students will learn compound strokes, various structures of Chinese characters, radicals and related characters, word formation, sentence patterns (including word substitution and sentence construction), Pinyin, children's songs and folk tales, and short essays. Progress step-by-step from characters and words to sentences and paragraphs. Beyond engaging classroom games and activities, students will develop listening and speaking skills related to the topics covered, fostering critical thinking about cultural phenomena.

In Level 2, students will master Pinyin, learn picture-based speaking, practice sentence imitation and rewriting, and engage in weekly graded reading assignments.

Taught by experienced Chinese teachers entirely in Mandarin, the program utilizes small, interactive classes with fun games and activities. 

This program comes with handouts, in-class exercises, in-class games, assignments, unit tests and unit assessments.

This course is designed for:

• 2nd grade, around 6.5-7.5 years old;

• Or Chinese literacy of 50-150 characters, regardless of age;

• Have Chinese background; can speak and understand Mandarin.
