The program runs for 32-34 weeks a year, divided into fall and spring semesters. A theme is covered every two weeks, with a few review weeks scheduled at the end of each semester. Teachers will introduce students to an overview of China and guide them through their first experiences with Chinese culture. Students will learn Chinese pronunciation, and engage in simple conversations such as greetings, self-introductions, introducing others, etc. Learners will also acquire basic Chinese character strokes and simple characters, while also gaining an understanding of Chinese mythology, traditional Chinese festivals, engaging in crafts, playing games, and experiencing calligraphy and landscape painting. Taught by experienced Chinese teachers, the program uses small, interactive classes to cultivate students' interest in Chinese and stimulate their enthusiasm for exploring diverse cultures.

This course is designed for:

• Kindergarten, around 4.5-5.5 years old;

• No prior knowledge of Chinese required.
